Happy Thursday everyone!!! It's almost the weekend 🎉! I hope everyone is doing well and has had a great week so far! I apologize for 'disappearing' this past week or so, our schools started back this week and between getting our middle daughter's supplies and uniforms set up for going back to school and trying to get Little Man back on the routine of it just being me and him during the day... it's been fun to say the least lol! Needless to say that meme has been me all week! It seems as if instead of sleeping until I actually 'need' to get up, my mind/body has decided to just get up earlier and earlier with each new day. The last two days they have decided that I should get up at 4! NO FUN!!! So let's get some music and chat going to get us through today and on into Friday!

only a week to go and bye bye the old channels on Disqus for Politics at least I still have a home for those who want it snowflakesforum.blogspot.com courtesy of Country Kat who set it up for me I have also heard thru the gravevine that some of the existing political channels will be transferred to a new platform that does not use Disqus, but right now have no information further on that. As for Country Kat, I hope once Disqus closes the existing channels, people who are looking for an easy and relaxed escape from the anxieties of the world will find their way HERE.

Hey people!!! How's it going?  Figured it was time to throw up a fresh thread. Once channels end, there should be a new thread at least every other day! I hope everyone is doing well and are having a good week! So, let's have some fun!

Hello everyone! Here's a fresh thread to chat on! As it gets closer to the closing of the channels we will increase the threads that get posted and will eventually move into doing an open chat thread either daily or every other day along with other topic specific threads that 'authors' choose to do.  Either way, it's all about having fun with friends! Most know that there have been some issues going on over on the channels and I just want to take a moment to say that we will be doing our best to keep the blog drama free! While we don't "want" to ban anyone that joins us here, should the need arise, we will in order to keep this a fun and drama free space. So let's get to having fun!!!

stay tuned.  I am working on a new forum for the politics addicted. then there will be this place. also Zangie said they are working on a new platform. plus the chatroom I have been promoting that no one seems to like or give a chance :( pretty soon so many options, I will be stuck to my computer chair, and I will blame all the Disqus refugees.

Okay I want to clear up a few things. When I converted this blog over to use the Disqus commenting platform, it was already named Country_Kat. I had set this blog up YEARS ago, did absolutely nothing with it aside from one post, then decided it could be used for when the channels are gone. With that said...                         This is NOT 'MY' site! It is OUR site! I have used the handle Country_Kat since the Yahoo messenger/chat days, so I have used it for years and hence why this blog was named that. I don't think there is a way to change the name although I will be looking into that this morning. If there is no way to change the name then I will most likely scrap this blog and create a new one with a new name. Either way it's done, we need to come up with a new name. I'm not very creative when it comes to that sort of thing so I want everyone's help in coming up with a new name. The only ones I've been able to come...

WTF, no politics? Imagine Snowy not doing politics and having to behave. Sad day indeed. OK OK I can do without the politics. (I think)

Being that the other thread is getting on up there in comments, here is a fresh one! Once the channels are shut down, either Ian, Duke, Nugget, or myself will create a fresh one daily for chit chatting and if someone decides to do a topic specific post that will posted also. I will be AFK (away from keyboard) soon being I have a doctor appointment, but feel free to chat, share music or do whatever. Don't forget that the channels are still open and still our main spot for now!
