Hey all! I've been having issues with my laptop and got tired of fighting with it to stay connected to the internet (it stays connected to Wi-fi just fine but loses internet) so I've just taken a few days break. I got back on this morning to find an email from Snowy about Disqus having issues again. Back in October, Disqus was having issues and I was able to find another commenting platform,  https://intensedebate.com/logmein I recommend bookmarking the site! Should Disqus continue to have major issues or if we decide to go ahead and change platforms, you'll already have it bookmarked. I'd also recommend bookmarking both Snowy's and this blog as I don't think there is a way to 'tag' people with Intense Debate as there is with Disqus (at least I haven't figured that part out yet, if there is a way). It's finally Friday! Did this week seem super long to anyone else or was it just  me 👀? I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm so glad to be through the holiday season. My feet are still throbbing from 2 days of cooking and I was so tired when it came time to actually eat Christmas dinner that I didn't even eat! Now, the only thing left to do is taking down the decorations but mehhh, they can wait a day or two. I'm still dead on my feet lol! Yet here we are, it's the LAST Friday of 2019! 2 Days after Christmas and merely 4 days from the start of a brand new year! I'm looking forward to the new year but then again, it's scary too! My family and I have a lot to consider and could very well be moving with the time frame being in a week or two or possibly a month or two. So much is up in the air right now and I'm one of those that doesn't handle change very well. But it is what it is, we'll do what's best for our future...

I'm not going to send out 'invites' for this one, I doubt people really want to hear/read about it but I need to get it out of my system. My nerves have been shredded this weekend and I literally have no one outside of these 4 walls to talk to.  I'm here everyday taking care of everyone and the house, I answer my husbands phone call every evening when he gets off of work and I ask him about his day and I let him bitch and moan to get it out of his system so that his bad mood isn't brought home to me or the kids.  I'm also the sounding board for our oldest daughter and her frustrations with work or with a professor that she emailed (she takes online classes) that hasn't responded to her in several days or one that's responded but somehow entirely skipped actually answering her question. We've made it to Friday!!! Whew what a week it's been so far! I attempted to get back on yesterday when Little Man was put down for his nap but I ended up being stuck on the phone between the school and my daughter's old doctor's office trying to get her attendance crap sorted out. Either my daughter hasn't turned in the notes from either myself or the doctor if she'd been there or her teacher misplaced them and they didn't get sent to the lady at the school that handles attendance. It had gotten to the point that enough 'unexcused' absences had happened and legal action could have happened (although letters and/or doctor notes were sent). Attendance lady had 3 days listed as unexcused though that my daughter actually went to school and I was called half way through the day to pick her up because and I quote, "her coughing is interfering with my ability to teach class". Howdy all! I hope everyone is doing well and having a good week! Things have been absolutely crazy around here! I switched our middle daughter's doctor to the doctor I see and after her second appointment with him, he wants her tonsils removed A.S.A.P. Initially he was ok waiting until summer when school was out, after her appointment last week though he's decided that if he can get it worked out to have it done over the Christmas holiday that would be even better. **Sigh** So we have her first appointment today with the E.N.T. specialist which could very well be her only appointment before a date is set for surgery. I'm not looking forward to it. I've never had one of my kids end up 'under the knife' for anything and trying to keep things upbeat and lighthearted to keep our daughter's fears and anxieties at bay has been really hard considering my nerves are being shredded with every passing day. Good morning! I know I'm a little late making the usual Friday post but it's been a crazy  morning lol. I hope everyone has had a great week! So let's get down to having some fun!

Happy Hump Day people! I do hope everyone is doing well! I would apologize for my absence but sadly, it will probably get worse throughout the month. Like everyone else, this time of year gets real busy but I also get the added 'fun' of dealing with seasonal/holiday related depression and I don't want to bring anyone else down during what should be a fun time of the year. I miss both of my parents of course, but my dad, losing him left a wound that just won't heal. My dad was the glue that held everyone and everything together and this was his favorite time of the year. Growing up in an extremely tight knit family (on my dad's side) meant so much but then sometimes you grow up only to realize that almost all of the people you looked up to for so long are faker than a 3 dollar bill and you have to walk away from them all to keep your sanity and your beliefs in tact. It makes things hard. Anyway, enough of that... shame on me! Let's have some fun!...
