Good morning all! I hope everyone is doing well today! I'm still half asleep myself 🙄. I don't know what my problem has been lately, even with my sleeping meds I haven't been sleeping very well. It's like I can't get comfortable and just can't seem to get my pillows just right. Then I'm hot even with a window unit A/C running full blast but if I take a cover off, I'm freezing! It doesn't help the 'hot' feeling when the better half puts out like a million BTUs worth of body heat and he literally has to be touching me when he sleeps (which I actually love but... I love my sleep too lol). I start off in the middle of the bed because he works me over to the edge every night lol. God help me if I get up to go to the bathroom during the night, he goes 'searching' for me in his sleep and in the time it takes to potty I come back to crawl in the bed and have roughly 12 inches to fit my fat a$$ on lmao! AS PROMISED - SNOWFLAKE'S LOVE STORY 2008 was the fateful year I ended my 30 year common-law marriage, our son had grown up and was off to college, I had sold my landscaping business, and we had drifted apart. ON various forums people at times post a thread about your favorite movie. Depending on the age group on such a forum you can get anything as old and boring as The Sound of Music or as loud and explosive as the Star Wars movies. My taste is a little more eclectic, and changes over time, especially when I re-watch a movie I had on my favorite list and now it seems "dated" or no longer holds my interest. Today is Memorial Day.  A day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to this great nation.  With the Civid 19 threat looming many of the traditional celebrations will not be taking place.  But there is one tradition of the day we can all participate in. Hi peeps! It's Friday morning, time to rise and shine! Better get that coffee brewing! I know I'm chugging on a cup right now after having a night of restless sleep 😒 Well, one thing's for sure (at least for me), today has GOT to go better than yesterday! I swear it seemed like everything I touched yesterday turned into a big hot steaming pile of poo 🙄. I mean, I screwed up a pot of boiling noodles for goodness sake's! How in the heck do you screw up boiling noodles?!!??! By having too much going on at one time is how lol. I got the noodles boiling in the pot then thought I'd have enough time to unbox the new modem, unwind all of the cables and adapter cord, plug the stuff in to where it goes on the new modem then get back to stir the noodles and finish them up before actually going through and unplugging all the old junk and installing the new. Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! While this day once represented the middle of the work week, now it seems to be just another day lol. Either way, it's Hump-Day! So how are thing in y'alls corner of the world? My state is starting to slightly relax restrictions for us although the town that I live closest to, you couldn't tell much of anything changed/happened. The only restrictions that really effected us would be the closings of our barbers/hair salon (yes, my town only has one salon lol) and the not being allowed to dine-in. We don't have crap as far as entertainment or 'non'-essentials. Oh, I take that back... we also had one nail salon that had to close 👀. It was 9 years ago, today, that I had to say goodbye to the man that I grew up believing he was invincible. As a kid, you'd never have convinced me that I'd ever have to say goodbye to my daddy, the strongest person in the world! I actually slept until 6:30 and the hubby doesn't have to be quite as early as normal so we've been sitting here watching videos for at least an hour lol. So how's it going? HOW ODD: A new TV version of Stephen King's THE STAND now won't be released until late 2020, and I wonder why? (sarcasm) I was looking forward to it though for some it might be hard to catch with it being released on CBS All Access, but it has some interesting stars in it: Marilyn Manson as Trashcan Man for crying out loud. Weather is shitty where I live, so might be a good day to put on some BLUES! This stay-at-home stuff is getting very long and boring, but I fully support the restrictions, gives me time to catch up on chores, bingwatching Netflix, and fixing up the apartment for the day my GF might move in with me.
