  Good morning peeps! I hope everyone is doing good this morning! I'm sitting here being driven crazy by a 5 year old lol. Due to the rains and possible flooding, our schools decided to do 'remote learning' for the day. Being Little Man is only in Kindergarten, they just sent home a couple of worksheets for them to do. I'm still tired and kicking myself in the butt for getting up at 5:30 but that internal alarm clock is a real b@#ch 😂! They've been back in school for a month now and I've yet to hear the alarm clock go off, I always wake up well before it has the chance to lol. Well, the rain has began. I spent yesterday morning cutting grass cause I knew if I didn't, with the amount of rain we're expected to get, we'd have needed a row boat and hay bailer if it didn't get cut before Ian showed up.   Good morning and... How is everyone doing today? I hope well! Here we are, yet again, half way through the week! I hope that everyone's weekend went well and the that your first part of your week has also! We are doing fairly well. It seems that everyone is over their bout with Covid and I'm thankful that no one got too bad off. I was surprised that each of the girls' most severe symptoms only lasted roughly 48 hours but glad that the worst passed so quickly. Middle Daughter decided to extend her misery though lol. She was feeling good this past Saturday and went out to ride her bike around the house. Well, she went to turn into the driveway which has rock for a few feet and she was going way too fast which caused the bike to kick out from under her and she went down rather hard.   Hello, good morning and welcome! It's finally Friday! I hope everyone has had a good week and is doing well. I'm about to freeze to death and looking forward to a really hot, long shower here shortly lol. It's 59 out there right now with winds of 10 to 20 mph and is only supposed to reach 73 today... my kind of weather! So anyone got anything fun planned for the weekend? Ours will be our typical weekend and the hubby, of course, wanting to make up the couple of hours he missed this week is going to work visitation tomorrow. I am now of the opinion that either this place is cursed or that the universe is out to break me/us in every way possible! Y'all already know that Little Man was sick last Tuesday and Wednesday. Well, he went to school Monday (wearing a mask per school policy) and not long after lunch time, I got the call. They say that he has a 'rash' on his face, arms and legs and that he has to be picked up and can't come back to school until he's cleared by a doctor. Ok, while I don't drive unless I have to, I would have driven in this situation BUT, I have no vehicle. The hubby wrecked his truck at the end of July and he's using mine until my brother can get the truck back to his shop and eventually repair it... I have nothing to drive to go pick up Little Man. So, I call the hubby and, it rings busy? That's never happene...

  Good morning peeps! I hope everyone has had a good week and is having a wonderful start to their Friday morning! It's not been a 'bad' week but it has been tiring. Little Man is still home although he's pretty much fine. With the whole Covid thing, he isn't allowed to go back until Monday. This county isn't playing around lol. If a kid has so much as a runny nose, they are sending them home. So he's enjoying the fool out of it sitting here watching SpongeBob. I thought that I was going to have to duct tape him to the chair yesterday. The plumbers were back out to fix yet another issue and he likes to be all up in the way watching them work. They enjoyed it though and actually talked to him and explained what they had and what they were doing with each item. Fingers crossed that they won't have to come back out again lol.   You have got to be kidding me? Is it just me or does this week seem to be taking forever to go by? I hope everyone had a good weekend and is having a good week so far. It's been dragging around here since I'm still not up to 100%. Whatever it was that made me feel like crap mostly cleared up but it caused some chest congestion so I'm now living on Mucinex, but it's slowly starting to clear up. Oldest Daughter had something hit her like a Mac truck around 2:30 Monday morning. She said her head felt like it was going to explode from all the pressure. She went in to work long enough to get the most important stuff done then picked her up some Benadryl (sp?), came home and took 2 then passed out until around 6ish then took another dose after eating a little and crashed again.   Good morning my dears! It's Fri-yay!!! I hope everyone has had a good week and is heading into a wonderful weekend! We've had a decent week and although the hubby has to work visitation tomorrow, it will hopefully be a peaceful weekend (knock on wood lol). I'm just hoping that I'm not coming down with something.   Good morning peeps! I hope everyone had a good weekend and has had a good start to their week! Our weekend ended up ok although it had a rough start. If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck lol. So, y'all know that great aunt was coming to spend the weekend for Middle Daughter's birthday, nothing new there. She meets Oldest Daughter in the town where Oldest Daughter works so that she can follow her here, otherwise, great aunt would have never found our new place lol. Maybe half way here, Oldest Daughter notices great aunt flashing her headlights at her but they are on a 'bridge' bypass and there's no where to pull over. They get off of the bypass and by the grace of God the light was actually green which even Oldest Daughter has said she's never had happen before, so they were able to keep moving which is a good thing. We'll have great aunt here all weekend to celebrate Middle Daughter's birthday. Hubby's home today, well, he's off today. He's taking my truck to one of his coworker's houses and they are going to help do the repairs so it will only cost us for parts. He'll be leaving here shortly to go do that. Other than that, not much going on. I'll be on and off today while I get my shower and then work on washing Middle Daughter's bed stuff. Great aunt will be sleeping in her bed but her coming is going to be a surprise so I couldn't have her do them during the week. That and she doesn't get off of the bus until 5 so she'd be struggling to get them done after school in time for bed. Anyways, it's Friday and time to take a little bit of a break!
