  Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is doing well! It's Friday and time to have a little fun or simply chill with good people! It's been a somewhat busy week with Middle Daughter having "band camp" daily and me not having a way to get her too or from lol. Luckily, another member lives rather close to us so he's been picking her up and bringing her home although she's home today after having spent most of the morning sitting in the bathroom. Finally have something in the works for a vehicle. A car my brother had offered to me for $2,000 even though he could sell it for closer to $5,000. It has one thing on it that needs repaired so he's got his wife getting it cleaned out good and then he'll put it in the shop for that repair. So hopefully we'll have it in the next week or two. It will be nice to have something again so that we don't have to keep asking Oldest Daughter if we can use her car for things like yesterday when the kids had an eye...

 Yep! It's Good morning! I don't know about y'all but this week seems to just be dragging on! At least my appointment went well Friday and I was able to enjoy an afternoon with the hubby. It's been kind of depressing and 'blah' since though. Saturday evening/night I had an uncle have a brain aneurism, he's gone now. Of course he was my favorite uncle from my dad's side and it came as a huge shock. I'd have never dreamt that something would happen to him before our other 2 uncles that have had some huge health issues over the past couple of years. This particular uncle was always active and on the go. Won't be able to go to the visitation services as where they are going to be held are a 6 to 7 hour drive from where we are. Wish we could attend the burial as he had it legally approved to be buried on the top of the mountain that him and other uncles had purchased decades ago where they spent a good chunk of hunting season every year at the cabin b...

 Kat has asked me (your favorite Snowflake) to step in and do a Friday thread for her. Listening to Rush yesterday gave me an idea for a thread. It's this: CANADA ROCKS!! I mean, come on, Americans just don't have the talent Canadians do, which is really evident in that their preferred music is............. country??   Good morning all! I hope everyone is doing well today and I first want to apologize to anyone that came later in the day Friday to the thread. I wasn't ignoring anyone but lost internet until some point that night. All I know is that when I got up Saturday morning, it was working again. So what's everyone up to? I'll be hiding inside in the air conditioner as it's been hot as heck! I did cut the grass yesterday though lol. 95 degrees, humid as hell and so hazy that it looked almost like a thick fog in the middle of the day but I did it lol! Shocked the heck out of the hubby when he got home and saw it done as I had 'told' him that it would probably wait until the weekend. I just decided that I'd go ahead and do it cause I knew if I waited until the weekend that he'd jump outside on the weedwhacker cause he'd "feel stupid and bad if I was the only one outside in the heat doing yardwork" and I prefer him to get rest on the weekends.   Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well today, it's finally Friday! I apologize for the thread going up later than normal. I didn't realize that it was 'Friday' as I woke up with my dad on the brain because today would have been his birthday if he were still with us. Anyways! There's not much going on around here, waiting to see if the day is going to turn out to be a rainy day or not. Sitting here while Little Man watches TV and plays with his Legos. I'll be getting a shower here shortly but other than that, don't really have any plans for the day lol. Oh!   Good morning all! It's that time again as we climb that mid-week mountain! I hope everyone is doing well and is having a good week! I dunno if it's just me but man does it seem like this week is dragging! There's not much going on though which is an awesome thing lol. Just sitting here listening to some things on YouTube, trying to keep the house as quiet as possible because oddly enough, Little Man hasn't gotten up yet!   Good morning peeps! I hope everyone is doing well and staying as cool and comfy as possible! The furnace has finally kicked in here in North Carolina and I'm avoiding the outdoors as much as possible lol! Even Little Man has decided that going out to annoy me while I'm smoking a cigarette is long enough to stay outside in one stretch lol. He's currently sprawled in his daddy's chair watching Stuart Little 2 (just finished the first one) and chillin'. Not much going on around here (thank GOD!) other than Oldest Daughter and "R" working on getting everything figured out with the bank and looking around for a place they like. Baby girl #1 will be flying the coup soon it seems 😢. I can't blame her though, they want a little bit of time for just the 2 of them in a calmer environment before they decide to add chaos to their own lives lol. You all just don't realize when I say that most of the chaos here is thanks to Middle Daughter and Little Man lol....

 Good morning everyone, it's I hope that everyone is doing well, that those that live in the United States had a  and that everyone still has all of their fingers! 😂 The hubby went in to work early yesterday so that he could get out early and fire up the grill! We had some hotdogs, bratwursts (my fav), some sort of spicy Italian sausages that the hubby and Little Man love and some other hot sausages. Threw some fries in the oven and made some mac and cheese to go with it! Easy dinner with easy cleanup! Well, everyone seems to have had fun on their beach trip last Friday although no one has been happy since returning home since they all came home 'crispy' lol. It seems that Oldest Daughter got that spray on crap that's supposed to be sunscreen, a mistake I made once when it first came out and swore that I'd never buy it again which is the same conclusion she has come to lol.
