  Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well today! So thankful today is Friday! After having gotten up right at 3:30 in the morning all freaking week, I actually slept until 5:45 this morning! I had forgotten to pre-setup the coffee pot last night so that all the hubby has to do is hit the button but surprisingly got up to a pot ready and waiting on me. The hubby looked out for me before he went to work this morning, I swear that man is way too good for a simpleton like me. So anyone got any fun plans for the weekend? Not much going on around here as usual. Thought the kids were going to be going to Great Aunt's but her check didn't go into her account like she thought it would so they'll be staying home. I'll likely clean the fish tank tomorrow as well as some other light housework but other than that, I don't see much happening. Anyways! No need to drag on and on about nothing so, time to chill and maybe have a laugh or two!

  Good morning peeps! I am so ready for Friday/the weekend. The kids are yet again out of school Friday, this was a prescheduled teacher's workday whereas last Friday was due to the storm, but at least that means that I don't have to set an alarm! Thanks to mother nature, I've been up since 3:30 😒. I would have went back to bed but I knew I'd likely feel a whole lot worse if I only went back to sleep for an hour or so than if I said screw it and stayed up so I've already killed a pot of coffee lol. I'm also looking forward to the weekend cause there is a slim possibility that the kids will be spending it at Great Aunt's! I have a sneaky suspicion that Oldest Daughter has planned things out since my birthday is Friday and she's made several comments of how the new Saw movie is coming out on my birthday. She's already bugged me over what I want as my birthday dinner and is ill because I told her Mc Donald's lol. I don't want her spending that ...

  Good morning! I hope everyone has had a good week and is looking forward to a weekend filled with everything to your likings! Ours is going to be WET lol. Little Man has thrown up at least once a day all week so in following their 24 hours with out having thrown up, he's been home all week and yet again, I'm stuck with him today lol. Not just him, but I'm stuck with Middle Daughter too as the county decided to do 'remote learning' today thanks to the tropical storm which is the reason that we'll be having such a wet weekend. With it moving in today and the winds that may be accompanying it, you'll have to forgive me if I disappear. As you know our internet is already 'iffy' and the storm will make it worse but also produces the chance of losing power. Anyways! It's Friday and I'm looking to get my mind off of having the little motor mouth home again all day lol. We don't have any plans for the weekend either, partly due to the storm but...

 Yup, it's Good morning all you beautiful people! I hope everyone is doing well, had a wonderful weekend and has had a good start to the week. We had a decent weekend. Saturday was fairly laid back, Middle Daughter cut 90% of the grass then hubby went and touched up the areas that we don't let her do like inside the fence. Sunday was busy but not crazy as I made scratch made brownies for Oldest Daughter's birthday then later that evening made the dinner she requested. It was a nice evening and the only 'hiccup' so to say was Little Man after Oldest Daughter and "R" left. He still doesn't quite understand them living somewhere else now and of course got a little upset, crying, asking me "when they were coming back home". Since then he's been consistently telling me that he's going to build his house right behind ours so that "he always lives with us" lol. Gotta love the innocent mindset of a child.   Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well this morning! Doing pretty good here, enjoying the cool morning weather as it was just above 60 this morning when I got up around 5. It's only about 68ish right now and only supposed to maybe hit 78 today so gonna be a nice day weather wise! Lily has refused to come in so far as she's enjoying it being cooler while she lays in the sun lol. Still kind of weird that it's only me and her during the day now but nice too lol. I don't have to hear the ankle biters bark at the slightest noise all the time. So, anyone got any fun plans for the weekend? Not much going on here although Oldest Daughter and "R" are supposed to be coming Sunday. Oldest Daughter's birthday is next Tuesday and since of course they all have to work, I'll be cooking whatever she wants for dinner Sunday and we'll celebrate her birthday.  It's the middle of the week and as we go over this speedbump, I can soooo feel this 😂! So how is everyone doing today? I am hopeful that everyone had a great weekend! Ours wasn't too bad although the hubby's was fairly busy. Did get to see Oldest Daughter and "R" as they came Sunday morning due to that day being planned as vehicle oil change day lol. Hubby changed the oil in both of their vehicles along with his truck. The car we got from my brother needs one but the auto part store wasn't open when things got started so he wasn't able to get what was needed for it. Oldest Daughter had already picked up the stuff for the other 3 vehicles like 2 weeks prior, bought the stuff for hubby's truck as "payment" for him doing their vehicles. So it looks like he'll be doing just the one this coming weekend. It sucks though because it had been sitting for 8 months prior to us getting it so it really needs the fresh oil and doesn't help that h...

  Good morning! How is everyone doing? I'm sitting here enjoying the quiet after the usual morning routine and irritation with Middle Daughter as she almost missed the bus this morning. I will say that it's been weird as heck not seeing Oldest Daughter and "R" this week, well, I did see "R" one morning as he stayed here the night that he got off late and had to be in early but we were already in bed by the time he got here. Although it doesn't seem right not seeing them daily, it's calmed down around here a bit. Unless you have a huge house, 6 head living under the same roof and with such an age difference often feels like mass chaos lol. Now I just have to adjust the amount of food that I cook since I'm not cooking enough for 6 head to eat one night then to have leftovers for lunches and/or dinners for a day or two lol.   Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend! Ours was hectic but things have slowed down quite a bit. Great Aunt got here Friday afternoon then we did Middle Daughter's birthday dinner Saturday night since Great Aunt would be going home Sunday during the day as well as Oldest Daughter and "R" being in their new place. They spent Saturday morning moving more stuff then spent the afternoon here. Sunday, we took Great Aunt home as well as meeting Oldest Daughter on the way at Lowe's so she could purchase a washer and dryer so that hubby could hook them up when we went to see their new place. It's a decent place, small but a good 'starter home' I think. It's been weird not seeing Oldest Daughter and "R" daily and not having to deal with the ankle biters but as I thought, it has helped slow things down here.   Good morning. I hope this day finds everyone doing well. I'm doing decent and have at least a quiet morning today since school was canceled yesterday thanks to Idalia, they were worried about flooded roads. Things went smoothly though. Oldest Daughter and "R" are working on moving their stuff and are already at their house unloading their first load of the day. Great Aunt will be coming back with them so it will be quiet until they get back at least. The hubby will be getting of a little early today so that he can go handle getting things done at the DMV so we can put the car that we got from my brother on the road. It's not a bad little car, only a year newer than my truck but at least the car runs (knock on wood!). Other than that, no much going on around here. Waiting for the yard to dry out after who knows how many inches of rain over the last 48 hours so that we can get the grass cut. Anyways!
