 Happy Halloween everyone! Let's have some fun today!  Since Halloween is a special day for kids, I thought it would be fun to share your inner kid plans for today. As a Halloween baby I dress up in costume every year, it's fun to see everyone else's costumes and I can be a little silly for a while. Great stress relief too.   Good morning everyone! I hope the past few days have been good and that everyone is heading off into an awesome weekend! I guess I didn't knock on wood hard enough, long enough or simply just not enough wood Wednesday lol. Y'all already know that after the thread was up and going for several hours that Little Man fell and either bit or busted his lip up rather bad lol. As an 'encore' for my failure in calculations, Middle Daughter got up with a sore throat yesterday 😣. It's more than likely caused by her severe allergies (she F'd up and forgot her morning allergy meds a few times) BUT I am a responsible person so I didn't send her to school. Technically I 'could' have had I wanted to go by their own play book since she had no fever whatsoever but why be a b*tch and push it?  Good morning everyone! I do hope everyone is doing well! Here we are, heading over that mid-week speed bump! While I can't say it's been "peaceful" (when is it with kids lmao), it's been largely uneventful, knock on wood! Sadly, Monday afternoon I got a call from the hubby while he was at work. One of his mom's dogs passed away (between old age and pining for MIL's hubby that had passed). He was making sure I was ok with him going to his mom's after work to bury the dog and spend a few minutes with her, of course I told him to do what was needed. Little Man has been keeping me busy again this week lol. He's not ran another fever and is doing good, he's just still got that stuffy yet runny nose and a croupy cough. I talked with his teacher on Sunday and she wasn't sure how the school would want to handle things as in if they'd require a negative test or what they'd be willing to do. So I kept him home and called the school on Monday...

 It's Sunday and the start of another week. It's another cool morning, but there's rain in the forecast for today. The sky is pearly gray and actually looks like it might rain. I thought I would try to post on Sunday's to help Kat out. Rainy days always make me want to sleep all day. What about you?  Two of our dogs are long haired and before they get their summer hair cut, they HATE getting their feet wet. After the hair cut, they will lay in a puddle. Makes me wonder if the water tickles their feet. Every time I try to brush their feet, it's the fight of a lifetime. On rainy days like today, they will wait and wait to go outside to do their business (their hair is about half as long as it will get over the winter). Since we have pet doors in, it's easier for them to go in and out at will, but they both hate the rain. The baby will come running into the house wet and try to jump in my lap to dry off. I have to cash him mid jump to stay dry. It's almost like...

 Howdy all! It's Friday, I think... at least according to the little calendar thing it is. As y'all have probably figured out by now, I am so very much a creature of habit lol. Between Little Man being home, if today's Friday then Middle Daughter has school BUT it's an online day so she doesn't have to actually go to the campus, Middle Daughter NOR the hubby were home last night... my days are so screwed up! Little Man is doing awesome! No fever in the last 24 hours. It literally seems to have been a 24 hour bug that ran it's course, it's left him with a stuffy yet runny nose but that's it. Of course I'm keeping a check on his temperature anyways every few hours just to 'make sure'. His teacher called yesterday to check on him (she is such a sweet lady). We chatted for a bit since the teacher's assistant had the kids outside. She had asked if I was going to have him tested... for what? His fever has broke, by the school's own handbook...

 It's Fall Ya'll! Cooler nights and warm days are finally here. Time to think about wearing sweaters again. I'm not sure if I like Fall or Spring best. What about you? Happy Thursday everyone! CAM

 Good morning all! I do hope everyone had a good weekend as well as a good week up to this point! I apologize for the thread going up late. I was actually going to bed at a decent time last night, was getting ready to shut the computer down when the hubby followed Little Man in here. Typical routine for me and the hubby at bedtime is, I let him go on in first, he gets Little Man up to potty then he gets him back in the bed. We started doing this because as you know, I take sleeping meds and of course they make me a little 'loopy'. Little Man HAS to have his blankets in a certain order or he has a meltdown and I, in my medicated state, couldn't care less what 'order' his blankets end up in as long as he's covered. So, the hubby deals with that potty trip. So I'm fixing to disconnect from the internet and run my CCleaner on the laptop when they come in. Little Man is upset so I can't understand what he's trying to tell me being he's half asleep and...

  Good morning everyone! I do hope everyone had a good weekend and week so far heading into this Hump-Day! Our weekend went by as usual, nothing special but nothing bad by any means. The hubby's hell started around 1 in the morning Monday morning though. No clue as to what got ahold of him or caused it, but he ended up with days (yes that's days with an 's') of unrelenting diarrhea. As he ever so eloquently puts it in his redneck terminology, he was "able to sh*t through cheese cloth at 100 yards".  I had cooked Sunday night, everyone ate the same thing but no one else had any issues so I KNOW it wasn't anything from that. It's odd though that he was the only one with any issues. He's the one with a 'super' immune system, he might feel 'off' for a day then he's fine whereas me or the kids would be down for a week and although we've all been in the same house, no one else has any issues still. I hope everyone has had a good week so far as we head into the weekend! Anyone got any special plans for the weekend? As usual, it's the same ol' same ol' around here. At least the weather is starting to cool off and it's not so danged humid! Got parent teacher conferences today, hence the kids being off. Our schools time things so that the kids either get out early on Thursday or are off completely along with being out Friday. Expecting a phone call for a phone conference in around 30 minutes for Little Man's first 9 weeks. Anyways, I won't write a book today lmao! It's Friday and time to have some fun!

She seems to REALLY enjoy it and is showing a high level of interest in the Ag field. Maybe she's found her niche. So FFA members were invited to participate in a "Chicken Show" at the local farmer's market. Think like a dog show, only with chickens instead of dogs. Members that wanted to participate but didn't have a chicken of their own, were encouraged to still participate by using one of the school's chickens. I of course said she could participate as long as I could work something out with the teacher on her being able to sit with said teacher after school until it was time for all participants to meet back at...

 Got my Metal Allergy patches yesterday and within 1 hour reactions were starting. They will remove the patches Wednesday and check sites, then check again on Thursday, and finally evaluate next Monday. All of this so the Orthopod can get me scheduled for a knee replacement. Still, not sure I'll go through with it, depends on IF there is any exposed metal in the fixtures. Other than that, planning on finishing stripping 2 french doors and getting ready to start baking for the holidays.  SOOOOOO what is going on in your world today?  CAM

 Good morning everyone! I hope everyone's week has gone good! 35 weeks until mother in law retires and we start preparing for the big move! She came over last weekend and we had a good talk about things. She wanted to hear from me that I was truly ok with/interested in buying her place. Everything she'd heard was third party, the hubby telling her what I thought or said so I can't blame her for wanting to be 'sure' before she begins some repair work. She recently found out about a moisture issue under the house, some duct work had slipped and was 'leaking' cold air under the house causing moisture a little wood rot in that area. If we (I) wasn't 100% on getting the house, she wasn't going to worry with fixing the wood issue but if I knew for sure that we did want the place, she wants to have the house in perfect condition for us.
