  Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well today and is looking forward to a weekend filled with the desire of your choosing! We'll be having the 'typical' weekend with the hubby working visitation tomorrow lol. It seems that he has become the go to person to fill someone else's day that they are supposed to be there. He doesn't have an issue with it though since it means more OT. Other than that, nothing much going on, which is a good thing lol 😂. Little Man is doing good. His cough has turned into a more productive cough and has lessened by quite a bit so unless something changes, he'll be heading back to school Monday (thank goodness!). He's done surprisingly well doing his worksheets with me this week. I have to constantly remind him to slow down when he's trying to write because to my surprise, when he slows down he writes rather well, but other than that, he's not been as hard to work with as he was in the beginning of the year.   Good morning! It's been a LONG day already lol. Woke up around 1:45 hurting, ended up getting up until around 5 when I was able to lay back down for close to 2 hours. Starting to think that rather than doing the stretches recommended for Sciatica that I need to stop doing them and give a chance for the piriformis (sp?) muscle to actually heal first. So I'm done (for now) with the stretching but will keep doing the light exercise to help strengthen that muscle. So how is everyone doing? I hope everyone had a good weekend and has started the week off good. Our weekend was chilled for the most part. Had to get Little Man from school again Monday since he was both coughing and had a runny nose. Didn't matter that he wasn't running a fever, they are anal now. I'm in no rush to send him back and will keep him home until either the cough or nose has cleared up.   Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well this Friday morning. Although I still have a lot on the mind, things are ok. I logged in and was getting ready to do the thread like half an hour ago but I got interrupted by my little feathered buddy lol. A little over a month ago, I started having a little feathered friend 'visit' me almost every morning when I'd go outside to the deck to smoke. After a while, I finally looked up what kind of bird it was and it turns out to be a Carolina Wren. When 'Wren' kept showing up literally every morning, I decided to start crushing a couple of crackers every morning for him for breakfast lol. I'd take 2 crackers, crush them up and line it down the railing on the deck.   Good morning all! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has had a decent start to the week! Ours was a 'typical' weekend although both the hubby and Oldest Daughter had to work Saturday. With it being tax time, Oldest Daughter's office is working on doing the year end close outs on all accounts (from the accountant end) so that taxes can be prepared and processed (on the tax specialists' end) so they have been working 12 or more hours a day with half a day on Saturdays until the end of the month. Come next month, she'll still be working 'some' overtime but nothing like this month. Anyways, I've got a lot on the mind this morning and I don't want to bring anyone else down so I'll keep the post extremely short and sweet.  Good morning peeps! I've been sitting here chugging coffee and listening to stories on YouTube since around 2:15 this morning. I had half of the pot gone before the hubby woke up for work lol. Thank GOD it's Friday! Little Man didn't want to get up this morning so I told him he can sleep in tomorrow since there's no school on Saturdays which made him happy, I'm hoping that it also means I can sleep in lol.   Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has had a good start to their week! As you know, the hubby took Thursday and Friday off last week with the kids coming home sometime Saturday and those two days were absolutely wonderful! It was shaping up to be a good weekend until mid-Saturday morning when the hubby was scrolling on FaceBook and got a message from my new sister in law that we needed to call her... that can't be good. So I hand the hubby the phone cause my heart immediately sank to my stomach and my hands had already started to shake.   Good morning peeps! It's Friday!!! I hope everyone is doing well this morning. I'm sitting here, still working on my first cup of coffee although I'd say it's probably cup #3 being the cup I use holds like 3 or 4 'technical' cups lol. The hubby and I had a great day yesterday. We were lazy bums most of the day until I finally made a decision on what I wanted us to do around 3 lol. As you already know, I lost all of my fish a couple months ago thanks to a sick fish that was bought so the tank has had nothing but the plants in it. I finally decided yesterday that I wanted more fish! I didn't want a slew of fish because adding too many after the tank hasn't had anything in it for so long could throw the water balance way out of whack. So we went to New Bern where I got 4 Fancy Guppy males, 4 Fancy Guppy females, 2 Sunburst Platys and 10 Ghost Shrimp.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Good morning everyone! Happy New Year and... I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and is doing well! I think I'm fighting the crud that Little Man had lol.
