  Y'all... Y'ALL! Can we say F it and just skip the rest of 2021? PLEASE??!??! For a split second, millisecond even, I THOUGHT that maybe the end of the year COULD POSSIBLY go smoothly but... I KNEW better than to even let that thought cross my brain. I freaking KNEW better! I'm on antibiotics for a THIRD time although the dentist isn't sure why. 2 visits this week and he cannot find ANY trace of infection and he's flushed the extraction area and even scraped it, but I have the most God awful taste in my mouth that makes me gag and dry heave unless I have a freaking peppermint in my mouth or something that knocks the taste back. The peppermints have my entire mouth so raw that anything stronger than sweet tea (which I'm not crazy about) burns the hell out of my mouth. So many antibiotics in such a short time frame has my gut all out of sorts, I've been up for 3 hours and have made twice that many trips to the bathroom and I'm fighting a constant urge to ...

Tracey... you jinxed me on the Hump-Day thread lmao!!! 😜 I ended up having to reschedule my appointment with the dental coordinator yesterday afternoon since I woke up yesterday morning running a fever of 101.8 😣. Then, right around noon, I got a call from Little Man's teacher. He had eaten breakfast fine, they had done their little Christmas party and she said he never seemed to slow down so whatever it is hit him like a brick wall. She said they brought lunch in and he said he didn't want any lunch, she said he went on his own, grabbed his blankie and laid down on his matt crying a little. She went and sat down next to him asking what was wrong and he said his tummy hurt, of course she asked the 'typical' question any parent asks when a kid says their tummy hurts, she asked if he needed to go 'poopie' which he said no to so she took his temp.  Good morning all, it's... Well, it's Hump-Day and instead of getting those 3 teeth taken out, I'm sitting here at the house, hubby is at work and well... 🤷‍♀️. I'm kidding, well, about everything except the hubby being at work and me sitting here at the house and I'm not getting those 3 teeth taken out today 😂. I got a call from the dentist's office Monday evening and well, they bumped me up a day due to a cancellation and the teeth were taken out yesterday!!! Yeah, I was sitting here Monday evening and Mrs. Tracey, my plan coordinator called me and was like, hey, we have an opening for tomorrow... you want it? Rather than let my anxiety build for another 24 hours I told her heck yeah, put me in it BUT give me time to call the hubby to make sure he was ok with it and that I'd call her back within 10 minutes. Needless to say that the hubby was able to and willing to do whatever I wanted to do so... the teeth are already gone!!! Of course my anxiety shot th...

  Good morning everyone! It's Friday! I hope everyone has had a good week and is looking at an even better weekend! Sooooo... I had the appointment with the plan coordinator with the dentist yesterday. Things aren't going to go 'quite' like I was hoping, mostly due to doc being the only one that has the licensing to do the IV sedation and how close it is to Christmas and all that, which I fully understand and have no issue with. He literally has no time/appointment slots open between now and 2 weeks into January for ANY ONE to be added for sedation extractions much less someone that's fixing to have 18 teeth removed to get set up for dentures. It's all good and the coordinator is doing her best to make it so that we only come out of pocket for what is absolutely necessary. So here is the game plan "for now", I say for now because it's ultimately going to depend on me, my pain tolerance come next week and whether laughing gas is going to do anything...

  Good morning everyone! It looks like I'll actually get the thread up early today 😂, well, earlier than I have been getting it posted lmao. Me being up though wasn't really 'my' choice lol. The hubby had to finish one last recertification for work that should have already been done but was interrupted by a P.E.R.T. activation 2 days in a row so he's had to kind of 'fall in' to other classes to get it completed. Thankfully, this is his last one and won't have to worry about them again for a year. I own up that he has 'spoiled' the hell out of me since Little Man started school.
