  I swear if it isn't one danged thing 😔. I literally typed the title to the post and have been in a decent mood all morning when my cell phone dinged. I normally don't break my neck to check it but since we are under tornado and flood watches and knowing there's the possibility of school deciding to dismiss early thanks to "Helene", I figured I'd better go ahead and look. Middle Daughter has already missed most of this week if school due to coughing and a sore throat to which she figured the sore throat was due to the coughing. So she's already home again today. So the phone dings, I check it and it's a text from the hubby?!!?! First thought was he got sent on a trip, then the next text came through saying he was going to pick Little Man up because he's apparently sick.   Good morning! I'm giving myself a pat on the back for not forgetting something that I normally do every week 😂. I'm an idiot, hopefully a well loved idiot though! So how is everyone doing? I'm being a lazy brat today although I will probably vacuum the floor at some point. Guess I need to get the dog's crate washed today too for it's weekly cleaning. At least it isn't a daily scrubbing anymore as Maive hasn't messed up in a while! She may be one that has to stay in her crate at night though as Middle Daughter decided that since it had been almost 2 weeks since Maive had soiled her puppy pad, she'd give her a shot at sleeping in the bed. My brother called after we had gone to bed Tuesday, had been in bed for a while actually, but he had called to let me know that one of our first cousins had passed away in her sleep the night before 😟.   Good morning and hello to Friday... the 13th!!! 😂 How is everyone doing today? Finally got some peace back in the house since Little Man's return to school yesterday. They FINALLY had their dentist appointment yesterday, the one that they were supposed to have had back in freaking July. That one got rescheduled to Wednesday @3:30 only for the hubby to get off of work early, come home and only have time enough to kick off one shoe (he wanted to change out of his uniform) before the phone rang and it was the dentist's office. Something came up and they had to reschedule yet again and said they could get them in the following day at the same time. So hubby had to look like an idiot at work having to get off early 2 days in a row for the same danged reason 😣. At least it's done, well, until the 26th when Middle Daughter has to go back in for a filling. The puppers are doing decent, their meds should be here today but to say that they are loving their meals of rice cooked in...

  Good morning, it's that time of week again. As per the usual, when it rains, it pours 😂! So Sunday, the hubby was working as I had said he had to in Friday's post. He gets home around 4-ish and as he's getting in the shower he remembers he forgot to start the dryer so he peeked out the door and asked me to. I of course went to start it and had thought to myself during the day that it seemed a TINY bit warmer in the house than normal so when I went down the hallway I made it a point to look at the thermostat. It's set to 70 but temp showed it was 75 in the house. So I go turn the dryer on thinking I had looked at the thermostat wrong and stop to check it again on the way back by it, nope, it's showing 75. All I can think is WTF? The unit is only 2 years old! So I play with the thermostat and it shows the air is 'on' but there's nothing coming out of the vent so I put my hand over the inflow vent and can tell that the air handler is pulling air which me...

  Good morning all! As we know, school started back last month and of course with that, Little Man and these freaking viruses has already started back. At least it seemed that it was just a short timed stomach bug but that means that he's home and of course driving me bonkers! That's not to mention the 8 times he had to be spoken to in music class the other day and pushing another kid yesterday before the hubby got there 😒. Anyways! I had ordered fast growing plants to help with the abundance of Nitrates which was causing an issue with hair algae.   Good morning all! I hope everyone is doing well, had a wonderful weekend and a decent week so far! Thanks to the kids being out of school Monday and the hubby having worked weird days over the weekend and so far this week, my days are ALL screwed up 😂!
